“The Riso Studio Arts team has been thoughtful and patient with us from the beginning. Due to the size of the college, we had to make changes throughout negotiating for a proper space on campus. We wanted to dedicate a space for the risograph and Makers Lab. We had custom-made cabinetry for the ink drums and other equipment. Albert and his team were so thoughtful that they dropped off a drum so we could have precise measurements.
Since we acquired the risograph duplicator, Jun has been generous with her time and expertise. She often helps us at a moment’s notice. When we confront difficulties, she spends time with us to problem solve. It was incredible to have her help us. She was an alum of the college and understood our system very well...We expect the risograph community at ArtCenter will continue to grow. Someday, we hope to acquire a second or even a third duplicator to support our creative community”

“RISO Studio Arts has generously provided not only RISOgraph printers and inks for Saddleback College but most importantly they have supported our learning curve with technical support and connected us to the vibrant creative network of local and international RISOgraph print studios. Since meeting at the 2018 California STEAM Symposium we have worked together on bringing RISOgraph to our campus. It has been used by multiple foundation art courses such as 2D Design and Color Theory as well as advanded Printmaking courses. We have also used the RISOgraph for interdisciplinary collaborations with our Anthropology and History departments and expect to continue expanding our publishing projects into other disciplines and with the local community. Our relationship with RISO Studio Arts has increased our capacity for student expression and engagement and I look forward to the incredible work ahead of us!“
